Crossed wires are hilarious… and I say so as someone who is infamous for saying the wrong word. Last Christmas, I thanked my boyfriend’s German-only-speaking parents for the “Gift” they gave me.

Only problem, in German, “Gift” means “poison”. What a great thing to say at dinner!
